The Ekurhuleni Metro Police Learnerships Program is committed to promoting social and educational development on all business platforms. They are looking for talented individuals in society who would like to become independent and proud members of a large, permanent workforce.

Their training includes a monthly scholarship for successful candidates. Some may also be offered permanent positions through their training contract, but this is not guaranteed. They aim to uplift communities to address limited skills shortages in South Africa.

Requirements for Ekurhuleni learnerships

In order to be eligible for one of the training areas provided in these areas, or for any available available area, candidates must meet all the requirements set by the Ekurhuleni offices.

Candidates need the following conditions:

You must be a citizen of South Africa
The candidate must be in Grade 12
All candidates must have diplomas or certificates in their field of application (if applicable)
Candidates must be fluent in English
All candidates must have computer skills (if applicable)
Must have a valid South African ID
You must have a valid South African driver’s license (if applicable)
Candidates should not have a criminal record
All candidates must reside in one of the districts as defined
Candidates should not have previous work experience
Most learning courses take 12 months. Applicants with disabilities as well as women are invited to apply. Only candidates who meet the minimum requirements can apply and those who do not meet these requirements will not be considered.
